06/2026, RELICS presentations at TOPAC

Westlake postdocs presented their work in the 4th Topics of Particle, Astro and Cosmo Frontiers (TOPAC 2026).

Jun Wang presented the latest sensitivity study on behalf of the RELICS neutrino experiment. 

Jijun Yang won the best poster award on his work on the dual-readout system of the RELICS PMTs.

08/2025, XENON talk at TAUP2025 in Xichang

Shengchao Li presented the latest YBe calibration result in XENONnT at TAUP in Xichang. 

10/2024, Dark Matter Overview at PIC2024

Shengchao Li gave a plenary overview talk titled “Direct Dark Matter Searches: Recent Results and Prospects” at the 43rd International Symposium on Physics in Collision. The talk reviewed the current experimental landscape of direct dark matter searches, with a focus on WIMP searches, recent results from noble liquid time projection chambers, including XENONnT, and the prospects of future detectors. The presentation highlighted how next-generation underground experiments will continue to advance the search for dark matter and broaden the discovery potential of particle physics.
