In 2023, Shengchao established the Laboratory of Dark Matter and Neutrinos to detect dark matter and neutrinos through highly sensitive detectors and study physics beyond the Standard Model. He is currently the Editorial Board Chair of the RELICS collaboration and Speaker Bureau of the XENON collaboration.
